Beef “School” in Ponderay on Saturday, Feb. 2

All are welcome to attend this year’s Beef School, sponsored by the Bonner-Boundary Cattle Association, on Saturday, February 2, from 9am – 2pm at the Ponderay Event Center in Ponderay, ID. Topics include the latest updates on producing quality beef and EDPs (expected progeny differences), presented by University of Idaho’s Livestock Extension Specialist Jim Church. He will also talk about spring planted forage trial results. A representative from Multimin USDA will discuss trace minerals and their function in the immune system, reproduction, and overall cattle health. Registration is $15 per person and includes a hearty lunch featuring beef. University students, 4-H and FFA members are welcome at no charge.
